Where History Meets the Sea
PHEIA, Vriniotis Resorts is located on the site of the ancient port of Olympia - Pheia, a place of great historical, cultural and strategic importance since antiquity.
Mentioned by Homer in the Odyssey, the bay of Pheia was part of Telemachus' journey in search of his father, Odysseus, returning from Troy.
Centuries later, as recorded by Thucydides in the Peloponnesian War, the ancient city of Pheia offered refuge to Athenian forces after their defeat in Sicily.
Today, this coastline remains untouched, forested and serene, blending mythology, history and nature in a rare and authentic way.
